Niamh and Stephen’s March wedding at Moyvalley Hotel
It was the perfect blend of romance and intimacy. Despite the rainy weather, their special day was filled with love and joy, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
A Beautiful Setting for a Wedding
Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort, set within 500 acres of scenic countryside in County Kildare, Ireland, was the ideal location for Niamh and Stephen’s wedding. The venue combines modern luxury with historic charm, offering the perfect backdrop for their celebration exclusively to the couple and their guests.
The First Look
Before the ceremony, Niamh and Stephen shared a private “first look” moment, giving them a chance to ease any pre-wedding nerves and capture some heartfelt photos. The grand staircase and stained-glass roof of Balyna House created a beautiful backdrop, perfect for their pictures on a rainy day. To add a touch of fun, the couple enjoyed a sneaky pint of Guinness before heading to the ceremony.
A Ceremony in the Stone House
The couple’s guests gathered in the charming Stone House for a Humanist ceremony led by celebrant Keane Harley. To keep everyone dry, the venue was conveniently connected to Balyna House via an underground tunnel. The lovely sound of the CastleStrings Quartet added to the emotional atmosphere, making the ceremony even more special.
Post-Ceremony Celebration
After the ceremony, guests returned to Balyna House for the reception. Although the rain persisted, Niamh and Stephen managed to capture some beautiful outdoor photos along the tree-lined avenue when the rain paused. A heartwarming touch was the inclusion of their beloved dog, thanks to Wedding Tails, a professional service that ensures pets can be part of the wedding day without stress.
Timeless Elegance with a Black & White Theme
The wedding’s classic black and white theme brought timeless elegance to the celebration. Niamh praised the helpful wedding coordinator and staff at Moyvalley, whose support made the planning process easy and stress-free. Her advice to future brides: “Delegate where you can!”
Evening Celebration
The evening was filled with energy as The Trips band had everyone on their feet, dancing the night away. It was the perfect ending to a day full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
