A Wedding Photoshoot with a Twist

Danielle and Chris’s love story unfolded against the charming backdrop of Martinstown House in Ballysax Kildare. This Strawberry Gothic-style cottage, nestled within a picturesque park adorned with old trees and a stunning walled garden, provided the perfect canvas for their spring wedding.

Morning Preparations and the First Look

The day began with morning preparations in a spacious and bright room on the ground floor, setting a joyful tone for the events ahead. The first look took place in the enchanting Walled Garden, a romantic spot that beautifully captured the couple’s anticipation and excitement.

Versatile and Romantic Venues

Martinstown House proved to be a versatile venue, offering various beautiful locations for ceremonies and blessings. Whether on the front lawn, the croquet lawn, or beneath the cherry trees in the walled garden, the couple’s love was celebrated in different enchanting settings throughout the day. The bespoke ceremony, crafted by their celebrant, Alison, added a personal and meaningful touch to the occasion.

A Day of Celebration and Togetherness

Danielle’s favourite part of the day was celebrating with friends and family after two years of Covid restrictions. This emphasised the importance of love and togetherness, even during challenging times.

Bride’s Advice

Danielle’s advice to future brides is: “Get all of the big things arranged first, and the small things will fall into place.”

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this day extra special for Danielle and Chris.
